Using these photos as a guide you should now be able to search for the correct russet example. However, just to show you the type/model of holster that you should be looking for I am posting the two photos below which I took of a post-1956 black example of the holster in question that was made by Bucheimer. My WW2 holsters of that type are packed away in storage and not easily accessible to me right now. I don't have a photo handy of the WW2 russet example. As Kevin noted there are several USGI holsters for the Detective Special but I understand that you are looking for a belt holster of the same type as shown in a period photo you have. Later post-war versions were made by Bucheimer and others. As per our multiple emails the correct belt holster you are seeking for the WW2 Colt 2 inch Detective Special is russet brown and was I believe made by Brauer Brothers in WW2.
